Romans 8 is one of the best-known and best-loved chapters in all of Scripture. It is teeming with life and promise and hope for all those who take the time to refresh themselves in its words. It is our prayer that this ten part sermon series in Romans 8 will renew and strengthen us as a church as we behold with fresh amazement all that is ours because of Christ.

Romans 8 teaches us that because of Christ we have the certainty of peace with God, the presence and power of the Spirit's ministry, and an eternal inheritance. It shows us that because of Christ we have been adopted into God's family, we have every reason and resource needed to persevere to the end, and we are sovereignly brought into the eternal purposes of God's love and grace. All this, and so much more, is ours because of Christ. May we come together each week eager to receive the Spirit and life that Jesus has for us through His word in Romans 8.
